Enjoying Days Lately?

Posted by andrea with No Comments

I know it’s been awhile since I’ve been around, just wondering if everyone is enjoying Days of Our Lives Lately? I hope so I have been enjoying it very much so.

I think since the reboot the show has been on it’s A Game, don’t you all agree? Couples that have been interesting me as of late are Bo & Hope like always, Abby & Chad, I even enjoy the it’s wrong Chad & Melanie what can I say I’m opened to the possibilities plus these pairs are pretty young.

How does everyone feel about the Will storyline coming up? I’m curious to see where it goes and how far Days of Our Lives is going to take it, though I did like Will & Gabby kind of sad but hopefully they keep Gabby Around.

There is a slight shortage of MEN in Salem though for all the ladies so I say the show should bring in some New Guys or hey Bring Back Brandon, Nathan(for Mel) and whoever else they can get on the show, WE NEED MORE MEN! Everyone is currently sharing too funny.

I am totally against the Austin & Abby thing I don’t think it’s right a matter of fact I am kind of annoyed by it, I prefer Austin with Carrie, and Abby with Chad or a New Guy just no way do I want her with Austin. One thing I have been against since I realized they were going there please don’t Days I am sure the majority of the Fans don’t want that.

Best thing though is get EJ & SAMI Back Together them having Sex was crazy insane but no complaints here I’ve always been a Ejami fan and have been waiting for this for so long, and they slept together and now I want more what a TEASE I know it was under bad circumstances but come on now let them WANT each other so badly and I am sure they will, James & Ali have the most excellent chemistry TOGETHER.

I have partnered up with PartyPoker UK to get some of their thoughts as well hope you all enjoyed these and continue to watch Days of Our Lives always support it, SOAPS NEED US whats left of them of course.

Entertainment Weekly and Michael Fairman are confirming that Will (Chandler Massey) will come out as gay and will begin a relationship with Sonny (Freddie Smith).

In the midst of persistent speculation, and seemingly some brakes put on along the way, it has now been confirmed byDays of our Lives that it is indeed Will Horton (Chandler Masseey) that will be revealed as another gay character on the canvas, following Freddie Smith (Sonny) who joined the show this past summer.

EW.com released this statement from Chandler Massey, about Will’s upcoming coming out story: “I’m thrilled to be able to portray my character in an empowering way that will show his struggle to accept who he is. It is my hope that this storyline will inspire others to be true to themselves as well.”

“DAYS Co-Executive Producer, Greg Meng explained, “Will’s sexual orientation will become obvious to the viewers as well as family and friends but his journey toward self-acceptance is expected to unfold over the next few weeks, the show says. We are excited to have the encouragement and support from both NBC and Sony to tell the inspiring story of a young man learning who he is as he defines and creates his relationships with others.”

EW.com also states that for now, the show won’t say whether Will eventually hooks up for Sonny.

BREAKING NEWS: Lisa Rinna to Reprise Iconic Role of Billie Reed

Posted by Scott with No Comments

The news broke today through Huffington Post, Michael Fairman and Soap Opera Digest that Lisa Rinna will reprise her beloved role of Billie Reed, off-screen on DAYS. Rinna’s return is being kept tightly sealed by press and by NBC. She will first air sometime in 2012.

Rinna is one of three actresses to portray Reed. Rinna debuted Billie in 1992, and remained with DAYS until 1995. In 1996, Krista Allen was recast in the role, and stayed with the series until 2000, when she left on her own accord. Rinna returned for several months in 2002, but left again in 2003. When DAYS approached Rinna to reprise the role again in 2004, she denied. The role was recast again with Julie Pinson, who remained in the role until 2008, when she left to series to join As the World Turns.

Keep in mind, this is still good with the state of Daytime. Everyone should feel fine about DAYS’ place in Daytime, as they’ve gotten a renewal until 2013, with an option of 2014.

The ratings are out for the week of October 10-14th and Days of our Lives did not have a good week.  The rebooted series fell into fifth place of the five network soaps and lost 107,000 viewers.  Although, when you look close at the numbers not many viewers separate #4 General Hospital to DAYS, just 5,000 to be exact!

The Young and the Restless received the biggest boost during the ratings period adding +282,000 viewers. The Bold and the Beautiful stayed at number two, but added +125,000 and One Life to Live stayed a number three and added +162,000 viewers from the previous week.
